Parent letter re:bounce and rhyme at the local library
"My little girl attended bounce and rhyme sessions at my local library from when she was a few months old .
The sessions were free and we both loved it , she was reading well before she went to school and is still reading beyond her years . She is now 5 and can read and understand loads of different types of text . I hope the government keep up free bounce and rhyme sessions as for someone like me with a really poor educational background , I was worried sick what I would pass on to my child . (poor spelling and writing. )
I left school with no qualifications and if it wasn't for spell check .....
I'm glad my child has got a love and appreciation of books so early , I wish I had ."
